Harvesting Parameters

All Berries are harvested with machine harvesters. By utilizing a shaker and conveyor belt system this harvesting method limits hand to berry contact.

Water Parameters

All Berries are processed with water tested by ISO 17025 scientific laboratories. Irrigation water is applied sustainably with a drip system sourced from tested groundwater. Drinkable water recognized by the Department of Ecology.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reports the food safety risk for berries are thermo-tolerant coli-forms:

Hepatitis A

Norovirus

Cyclospora

These bacteria can be transmitted via contaminated hands and water. Harvesting parameters limit hand contact risk factors. Water quality parameters limit method of exchange.
